Aspire Lincolnshire Pop-Up & Project Launch
It’s official! The Village of Lincolnshire is embarking on an update to their Comprehensive Plan. Community outreach, engagement and future visioning are underway to help shape this plan. Entitled Aspire Lincolnshire, the community planning process kicked-off at Boo Bash on Friday, October 28th with an interactive pop-up booth. Residents and local ghouls were invited to share their thoughts about Lincolnshire today and ideas for what would make for a more vibrant future. Dozens of ideas were shared and recorded as we enjoyed continuous candy-fueled conversation. There is clearly no shortage of ideas or creativity and we can’t wait to hear more!

Wishes for Lincolnshire’s Future: What did we learn?

“Nature and open space are inextricably linked to Lincolnshire’s identity–our plan should strengthen this bond by making nature and recreation opportunities even more accessible.”
“More culinary destinations, like food halls, in some of our vacant spaces”
“Making crossing Half Day Road easier would better connect us as a Village and would help us get around more sustainably.”
